About the Role

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, to ensure that all areas are spotless and sanitized.

  2. Trash Management: Empty trash cans regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.

  3. Meeting Rooms: Prepare meeting rooms for client presentations and internal meetings by arranging seating, cleaning whiteboards, and ensuring A/V equipment is functioning properly.

  4. Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Ensure that dishes and utensils are washed, and the refrigerator is organized.

  5. Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly, ensuring that supplies like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels are adequately stocked.

  6. Common Areas: Maintain the cleanliness of common areas such as the lounge and reception area.

  7. Report Maintenance Issues: Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.

  8. Supply Inventory: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.

  9. Adherence to Safety Guidelines: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe and hazard-free environment.

  10. Assist with Event Set-Up: Provide support for event set-up and breakdown when necessary.
